Our client’s challenge
“To ensure that we realise the perfect interior for our shops, we work with many different suppliers. Each of the suppliers delivers part of the interior directly to the shop. This quite often leads to chaotic situations, either due to vehicles blocking the shopping street or because many different suppliers deliver with different trucks at the same time.
“When a supplier’s goods arrive late, it causes problems in the planning of the shopfitting. A day’s delay in the process means our shop opens a day late, causing a lot of extra costs. Therefore, we were looking for a way to streamline our processes so that we could avoid delays as much as possible.”
Our solution
”To make everything run as smoothly as possible for our client, we take care of the entire logistics process. We facilitate transport from the various suppliers to our warehouse, where the shipments are merged into one. The shipment is delivered “Just in Time” to the shop location.”
”Upon arrival, our driver helps unload the shipment, and because everything is loaded in the right order (items that need to be installed first are loaded in the back of the trailer), the fitters can start the installation or assembly process immediately.”
”Need extra manpower? Our drivers can take care of simple assembly tasks to speed up the shopfitting process. Together with our customers, we make sure they can cut the ribbon and open the fully restyled or new shop at the scheduled time!”
