Following our November 2022 Zero Emission Transport pilot, our plans for making commuter traffic in Eerbeek more sustainable have gained momentum, as since 23 December 2022 we can call ourselves the proud owner of our first electric truck. The FRAMO eTruck has a range of around 140 kilometres and will be seen in and around Eerbeek where it will be used to transport finished products between the factories and Schotpoort Logistics’ storage location.
Emission-free city centre
With the purchase and commissioning of our first electric commuter truck, we are taking a good first step towards making commuter traffic in Eerbeek completely emission-free and low-noise, one of the objectives we have committed to under the banner of Eerbeek Loenen 2030 (www.eerbeekloenen2030.nl).
From next week, our new acquisition will be operational and of course, we will continue to share our experiences and new developments in our sustainable fleet in the near future.
