Schotpoort Logistics jumps from place 90 to place 56 on the list of Top 100

The Top 100 Logistical Service Providers of 2020 were announced today. Last year we entered the list at 90th place for the first time, this year we are proud to announce our jump to the 56th spot. The decisive factor that contributed to this rapid increase is our innovative strength. Other factors that influence the score besides innovative strength are the number of employees, turnover, number of square metres of warehousing and corporate social responsibility/sustainability.

Flexibility and solution-oriented working method now rewarded with the highest score

As a medium-sized family business, we cannot measure up to the largest players in the market when it comes to quantitative figures such as the number of employees, square metres of warehousing space and turnover. We were therefore pleased to see that innovative strength was also a deciding factor this year. As a logistical service provider, we specialise in providing customised solutions, intending to create a win-win situation. After all, we are convinced that only then we have effectively become and remain part of our customer’s success.

To realise this win-win situation, it is of great importance to align our organisation as much as possible with the organisation of our customers and to share relevant available business intelligence.

As a full-service logistical service provider, we, therefore, invest in specialised systems to properly inform our customers as efficiently as possible, we are constantly measuring the efficiency of our services to identify potential shortcomings at the end of the day improve these shortcomings.

Our innovativeness and creativity were recognised and handsomely rewarded in this year’s top 100 rankings. The degree of innovation was measured on three different indicators within the ranking and the independent research panel involved in the ranking awarded us the highest possible score of 5 stars after studying our input!

All in all this climb in ranking which could not have been achieved without the hard work of all of our colleagues is surely a sign that we are on the right track. Hopefully, next year we will be able to establish ourselves permanently in “the left-hand column”.
